Are you someone who is motivated and passionate to make real lasting change for people in North Edinburgh through a truly person-centred approach? Do you see people as unique in their needs, hopes and aspirations? Are you keen to walk on that journey with them?
The North Edinburgh Support Service (NESSie) is an innovative collaboration between four like-minded organisations working in North Edinburgh. Move On, North Edinburgh Arts, Spartans Community Foundation and Fresh Start. We are looking for a Development Worker to join our innovative and impactful team.
NESSie offers a “no wrong door” and liberated approach for people seeking support, advice, and access to services. NESSie is more than a support service – it’s a living, adaptive system that responds to people’s needs in real time while driving systemic change through shared learning, collaboration and advocacy.
You will be “hosted” by Move On and work in the North Edinburgh community as part of an established team of four Development Workers. Over the last three years, the team has developed successful ways of working, starting with where people are at, addressing the issues which they bring and working with the whole family. This is no ordinary Development Worker role, as you will work in a liberated way as part of a self-managing team influencing systemic change with our public and third sector partners.
Closing Date – Applications must be submitted by Tuesday 2nd December, 5.00pm, to john@moveon.org.uk
