As a Women’s Support Worker, you will provide outreach support to women and, where appropriate, their families. You will also play a key role in assisting women and families seeking safe refuge accommodation.
About you: This role requires a diverse skill set, the ability to work independently, with strong workload management. A firm commitment to women's equality and a feminist perspective on domestic abuse are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships are also key.
Organisation profile: Ross-shire, Skye and Lochalsh Women’s Aid offers support, information and temporary refuge accommodation for women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse by a partner or former partner.
