Role

Are you committed to advocating for women's and children's rights? Do you have the skills, knowledge, and experience to support women affected by domestic abuse? Do you have a strong understanding of gender-based violence and women's inequalities? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

As a Women’s Support Worker, you will provide outreach support to women and, where appropriate, their families. You will also play a key role in assisting women and families seeking safe refuge accommodation.

About you: This role requires a diverse skill set, the ability to work independently, with strong workload management. A firm commitment to women's equality and a feminist perspective on domestic abuse are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships are also key.
