Role

Introduction

No one should face the death of their child alone, and at CHAS our role in the fundraising team is to ensure just that. Gifts in Wills play a significant part in CHAS’s income every year and this role is pivotal in ensuring all of our teams are equipped to be able to speak about this way of giving sensitively and confidently. As part of the Community Fundraising and Legacy Team, and the wider Fundraising Managers group the successful candidate will build relationships across CHAS

About You

  • Exceptional communication skills required to deal with professional audiences with credibility, as well as engage staff, volunteers and CHAS supporters interested in making a gift in their Will in an appropriate and effective manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to build mutually beneficial relationships with peers across the organisation
  • Demonstrable knowledge of legacy giving market
  • Demonstrable experience of creating and implementing successful supporter journeys
  • Demonstrable experience of legacy and in-memory giving marketing and promotion

As a Legacy and In-Memory Giving Relationship Manager, you will be instrumental in achieving this vision.

At CHAS, staff and volunteers work together as one team, focused on the common goal of reaching every family in Scotland who needs our support. We have a 3:1 ratio of volunteers to staff members in CHAS. All CHAS staff will at some point work with or alongside volunteers and will be expected to support volunteers.
