Monifieth Befrienders supports isolated people aged 60+ in Monifieth and surrounding areas through one-to-one befriending, intergenerational projects, and regular community groups. We aim to reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing by building meaningful connections.

Intergenerational Coordinator

Monifieth Befrienders is seeking an Intergenerational Coordinator to develop strong links with Monifieth High School, local nurseries, playgroups, care homes, and the wider community.
You will:
- Recruit and support young volunteers aged 25 and under
- Match young befrienders with older Friends for weekly visits
- Monitor and support intergenerational friendships
- Be the main point of contact for all young befrienders
This role requires someone inclusive, encouraging, and mindful of young people’s needs, with the ability to build strong community partnerships.
You will be supported by our Service Manager and report to the Management Team.
